Man reportedly stabbed and cut several times near Colorado Springs Airport

A man was reportedly stabbed and cut several times while being assaulted by three suspects, one which was armed with a handgun.

Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 5300 block of Airport Rd. around 1 a.m. on Thursday.

A man told officers that he was assaulted by three suspects. The victim said one suspect had a knife and a second suspect was armed with a handgun.

The victim stated he was stabbed and cut several times before he was able to escape the suspects. He was transported to the hospital with multiple stab wounds, none of which are life-threatening.

The suspects have not been located and the investigation is ongoing.
