Colorado Springs police search for man who shot woman during disturbance
Police are searching for a man who is suspected of shooting a 44-year-old woman.
Authorities were called to a residence just south of Valley Hi Golf Course late Monday evening for reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman that had sustained a gunshot wound after a disturbance with a man. She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After further investigation, the suspect was identified as Jason Flores. Flores left the scene prior to police arrival.
An arrest warrant was obtained for Flores on felony related domestic violence charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
