Sunshine, few afternoon storms – 4/24/19
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast for the first part of the day before a few clouds move in during the late morning and early afternoon. Most of the clouds stay west of I-25, and a few could produce some rain and lightning anytime after 2PM today. Highs will be a lot warmer today and will likely top off in the 60s and 70s. Our local mountain cities will warm to the 50s. Showers and stom chances wrap up by sunset.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with overnight lows cooling to the 30s and 40s.
EXTENDED: Better chances for scattered showers and storms are in the forecast for Thursday before tapering off through the day on Friday. Saturday could bring another stray shower or storm, but most of the daytime looks dry. Sunday brings warm, dry skies before better chances for heavier rain move in on Monday and Tuesday.
