District 20 Administration building temporarily placed on lockdown

The Academy District 20 administration building is no longer on lockdown after police investigated the report of a person of a gun in the area.

No suspects were found, and nobody was injured, according to an employee at the administration building.

The Academy District 20 administration building in north Colorado Springs is on lockdown while police investigate the report of a man with a gun in the area.

The building is off of Chapel Hills Drive, just north of Jamboree Drive. (MAP) An employee inside the administration building confirmed the lockdown to KRDO at about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Few details have been released at this point, and police haven’t specifically said there’s a threat to the public.
