Raising Cane’s hiring for first Colorado Springs restaurant
Raising Cane’s is hiring 90 people to sling chicken fingers at the chain’s first restaurant in Colorado Springs.
It’s opening May 29, and General Manager Sissy Velasquez says they’re offering flexible schedules to those who apply.
The new restaurant will sit near Chapel Hills East on the southeast corner of Academy Boulevard and Agora Point in the northern part of Colorado Springs. It will be in the same location the demolished Elephant Bar once was.
Interviews will be scheduled through May 20 at the Homewood Suites at 91030 Explorer Drive. You can apply online at RaisingCanesJobs.com or go to the hiring center on Academy between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The restaurant has announced they are hoping to eventually add a second location to Colorado Springs as well. The final end date for the construction has not been announced. We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Raising Cane’s, based out of Louisiana, focuses on marinated chicken fingers, but fans say the appeal is in the sauce. Cane’s Sauce is a seasoned ketchup-based mixture — while the official recipe remains a secret, dozens of copycat recipes have been published to satiate amateur cooks’ desires.
Documents show the chain plans on a standalone building with a drive-thru and outdoor patio.
The Gazette says Raising Cane’s hasn’t made an official confirmation of the development and hasn’t given a timeframe for opening yet.
There are currently five Raising Cane’s locations in Colorado, with the closest to the Springs being in Castle Rock.
