Rainy & snowy Monday – 4/22/19
TODAY: Mostly cloudy and cool today. A few early sprinkles or a stray shower is possible before more widepread rain and snow move in for the afternoon. Rain and snow showers begin over the southern mountains around lunch time and lift north and ramp up through 2-3PM today. Snow is most likely over 10,000′ today where winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings are out through noon tomorrow. Moderate to heavy accumulation is likely there. Highs warm to the 30s and 40s today. 50s and 60s are likely east of I-25.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. A few rain and snow showers likely for our local mountain cities, with rain showers in the lower terrain.
EXTENDED: A few more showers are likely tomorrow but highs start to warm up. We really get back to those spring temperatures through the middle and the second half of the week when the 70s and 80s return. Skies will be dry on Wednesday and showers and storms move in Thursday through Saturday.
