Lyft offering discounted rides on 4/20

Lyft is offering $4.20 off one ride on Saturday, 4/20.

The ridesharing company has partnered with CDOT and the Marijuana Industry Group to encourage safe transportation options on 4/20.

Riders can use the code “420CO19” to get the discount.

CDOT Safety Communications Manager Sam Cole says the partnership with Lyft helps keep drivers safe during large-scale celebrations like 4/20.

“We hope during busy nights and weekends like this, all people who choose to celebrate plan ahead and use a safe, reliable ride option to get where they need to go,” Cole said.
