Family members stab each other during fight, Colorado Springs police respond

According to police, two family members stabbed each other during an altercation late Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 4200 block of Morning Sun Ave. Upon arrival, officers found Fillimon Morales and Edwina Guinn with injuries consistent to being stabbed.

Further investigation revealed that Morales and Guinn were family members and that they had stabbed one another during a disturbance.

Both had injuries that were not serious.

Morales and Guinn were arrested for their involvement in the disturbance.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.
