Shooting investigation underway in southeast Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police are now wrapping up the scene of an overnight shooting.

Officers say the shooting occurred on Colony Hills Road on the Southeast side of town. The shooting happened after what police are saying was a dispute between friends.

The suspect pulled out a gun and fired at least 12 shots at the victims. The two people who were shot were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say there is no longer a threat in the area and the one suspect is currently in custody.
