Man with health issues leaves Colorado Springs nursing home

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 64-year-old man who was last seen at the Aspen Care Center.

Rocky Pettis left the nursing home on Monday after 8:30 a.m. He is described as a white male, 5’5″ with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue/gray flannel jacket over a light colored t-shirt and regularly wears blue jeans with white shoes.

Pettis has health issues and needs to take medicine. Police also say he suffers from dementia-like symptoms.
