Storm chances increase with the possibility of flash flooding in the burn scar areas

Tonight we can expect a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. The best chances for storms will be up in the high country and along the I-25 Corridor. We will see breezy conditions, with overnight lows in the lower 60s.

Wednesday will bring us a better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. It will be a hot one with temperatures in the low to mid 90s for the Pikes Peak Region and triple-digit heat out on the Eastern Plains. We will have to watch for the potential for Flash Flooding over the burn scar areas.

Our daily storm chances will continue on Thursday and Friday, with slightly cooler temperatures. We will see highs in the lower 90s.

The weekend will bring us a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday. It will be hot, with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s for the Pikes Peak Region. Expect highs in the lower 100s out on the Eastern Plains.
