Mild start to the week – 4/15/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny and warm weather is in the forecast to start the work week. Highs will top off in the mild to low 70s. Places through the Arkansas River Valley will hit the low 80s with 60s in the mountains. Enjoy the day if you can!

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with temperatures cooling to the 40s. Temperatures in the higher elevations will be in the 30s by early tomorrow morning.

EXTENDED: Tuesday still looks dry and mild with increasing clouds. Highs will warm to the 70s in most places with 60s sticking around over the mountains. By Tuesday evening, a few rain showers move in. These showers really develop through the day Wednesday as a storm pushes in from the west. This will make for some umbrella weather through Thursday. A wet snow looks likely over the mountains with rain in the lower elevations. Right now, snow accumulation looks very minimal to non-existent.
