Shots fired at Colorado Springs townhome, police search for suspect

Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night in southeast Colorado Springs.

Police were dispatched to the 4100 block of Charleston Dr for reports of shots fired in the area.

Upon arrival, officers recovered numerous shell casings from a parking lot in the area. At least one townhome and one vehicle were struck by the rounds.

No one was injured from the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
