Flights cancelled and Rockies game postponed ahead of winter weather

The Colorado Rockies postponed their game Wednesday ahead of severe winter weather conditions.

The 1:10 p.m. game will be postponed to Monday, August 26 at 1:10 p.m. If you cannot attend the make-up game, exchanges for Wednesday’s game may be made for any game throughout the remainder of the season.

Both the Colorado Springs Airport and Denver Airport were preparing for the snow Wednesday.

As of Wednesday morning, ABC News Radio reports more than 100 flights are canceled at the Denver International Airport.

According to the Associated Press, about 40% of Denver International Airport’s daily flights have been scratched, most of them in the afternoon when rain is expected to turn into snow.

As of Wednesday morning, the Colorado Springs Airport experienced four outbound flight cancellations and multiple inbound delays and cancellations.
