Wildwood Casino announces plans for $14 million hotel in Cripple Creek

Wildwood Casino announced the construction of a new $14 million hotel Monday, the new hotel is set to be called the Wildwood Hotel.

The Cripple Creek casino is scheduled to break ground for the 104-room hotel on May 15. The grand opening is currently planned for Spring or Summer of 2020.

The hotel will be adjacent to Wildwood Casino and will be connected by a heated passageway.

According to Wildwood Casino Owner, Joseph Canfora, the hotel is fully financed.

“We are thrilled to say we are 100 financed for the project,” Canfora said.

He continued to say, “Our goal was to design a hotel that provides a superior experience but at a price point that is affordable for the average visitor.”

Wildwood Casino also plans to rebrand its current hotel, Gold King Inn, as the Wildwood Inn.
