Springs police investigating three robberies believed to be related

Colorado Springs Police are investigating three robberies they believe are related.

Officers were sent to a convenience store in the 3800 block of Astrozon Blvd. before 4 a.m. Saturday.

There, three men went into the store armed with handguns. The men demanded cigarettes and money from the clerk, then ran away from the store.

About 20 minutes later, a victim was hit with a pistol and robbed in the 4800 block of Ridenour Dr. That person had minor injuries and did not go to the hospital.

Then, 10 minutes after that, a third robbery was reported at a convenience store in the 1400 block of N. Academy Blvd. The armed men took beer and money from a clerk.

CSPD says they’re investigating the robberies as related due to the vehicle and suspect descriptions.
