Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in the running for ‘Best Zoo’ in the nation

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has been nominated for USA Today’s ‘Best Zoo’ contest.

Last year, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo placed fourth in the nationwide contest, and this year the zoo is hoping to top the chart. The zoo is also competing for the ‘Best Zoo Exhibit.’

The public can vote for the zoo once a day, every day now until 10 a.m. Monday, April 22.

The winners will be announced on May 3.
