Fort Carson helicopters to return from deployment

Approximately 90 helicopters from the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, will return to Fort Carson beginning Monday.

Fort Carson reports, residents can expect increased noise levels as the helicopters are returning over the next few weeks. UH-60 Black Hawk, AH-64 Apache and CH-47 Chinook, are all helicopters that can be expected.

Noise complaints at this time should be directed to the Fort Carson Public Affairs Office at (719)526-9849.

Fort Carson says they are dedicated to being good neighbors and will continue to inform the public about air movements that may affect surrounding communities in the future.

The 4th CAB, 4th Infantry Div., was deployed to Europe in June to support the Atlantic Resolve mission.
