Rain/Snow Chances Friday 3-21-19

TONIGHT: A few rain and snow showers are possible in the mountains after 8PM tonight, west of I-25, with ongoing rain chances over the plains but mainly south of the Arkansas river.Moisture will continue streaming in from south to north through the overnight supporting chances for more widespread rain on Friday.

FRIDAY: Scattered rain showers and a few storms for the far eastern plains possible on Friday afternoon. Leftover moisture wrapping around the storm system will yeild the chance for light accumulations of snow for north El Paso county and the Palmer Divide by Friday night. Most places will only see a trace to 2″ of accumulation, with no snow expected through Springs, Pueblo and places east.

WEEKEND: Clearing skies for Saturday with temps back in the 40’s and 50’s. Sunday looks dry for the first part of the day before more rain/snow moves in by the evening hours.
