TONIGHT: Rain and snow showers end for the region by 2AM and we are left with quiet weather through early tomorrow morning.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will start off mainly dry and mild with the exception of a few rain showers by the afternoon in places south of Colorado Springs and Teller County. Rain and snow chances increase overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and will slowly change to all snow through the daytime. The wind component with this next system will be the biggest factor regardless of snowfall amounts as any little bit of snow materializes will reduced visibility on roads by Wednesday afternoon.
