Sunshine is in the forecast for the morning hours with increasing clouds into the afternoon. Rain and snow showers will be moving in west of I-25 between 2-3PM with increasing rain and snow chances along the interstate around 4-5PM tonight. Rain and snow is likely through the evening commute, with scattered rain showers out east past sunset. Highs today will be in the 50s and 60s. 40s for the mountains. Wind will be a big element to the weather story today, so look for gusts around 50 mph at their max this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Rain and snow wraps up by midnight tonight and we are left with continued breezy, chilly weather. Temperatures tonight cool into the teens and 20s.

EXTENDED: Our weekend looks quiet and cool before more rain and snow move in Monday afternoon through the first part of Tuesday. Cooler highs are expected next week.
