Wanted felon arrested after being found inside Colorado Springs home

Colorado Springs police arrested a wanted felon Tuesday morning.

Joshua Morgan, 28, had five active felony arrest warrants when police found him at a home in the 1300 block of Ginny Lane.

Police had received a tip that led them to Morgan’s location. When officers arrived they were allowed inside the home and found Morgan hiding in a crawl space.

Morgan had tried to run from officers. When Morgan was subdued, one of the officers had hurt his shoulder.

Morgan was taken into custody without further incident and taken to the Criminal Justice Center. The officer was seen as a precaution and released from the hospital.
