Search crews on ground and air looking for missing backcountry skier

Deputies, Search and Rescue personnel and Telluride Helitrax have launched a ground and air search for an overdue backcountry skier in the Matterhorn area, just south of Telluride.

Avalanche activity has been confirmed.

Officials are asking people to stay out of the Matterhorn area until further notice.
