Teen charged with murder for shooting in east Pueblo

Pueblo police say a 19-year-old is now facing charges of first-degree murder after the victim of a shooting Friday night died over the weekend.

We reported when police were called to the area of 1200 Fearnow Ave. shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday. A caller said a man was lying in a driveway and had been shot.

The victim, identified Monday as 26-year-old Christopher Sisneros, was found by officers and taken to a hospital. Police didn’t specify when he died.

Police were able to identify Devan Martinez, 19, as the suspect in the shooting and took him into custody. It’s not clear what led to the shooting at this time.

Martinez is still in the Pueblo County Detention Center.
