Red Rocks named best outdoor venue in the U.S.

We already knew Red Rocks Amphitheatre was one of the best places to see a live concert, but now it’s official: it’s the best outdoor venue in the entire country.

That’s according to Pollstar, a premier publication covering the concert industry, which says Red Rocks won the title for the 30th annual Pollstar Awards. Red Rocks won over other famous venues like the Hollywood Bowl, the Greek Theatre, the Gorge Amphitheatre, and the Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Red Rocks posted the announcement on its Instagram page earlier Thursday. In the same post, the venue announced it was nominated for an award by the Academy of Country Music for Venue of the Year. That winning announcement will be made on April 7.
