Nick’s Sunday Evening Weather

The latest in a series of winter storms races through the Great Basin Sunday night, and that storm will bring a bit of snow for Colorado’s Central Mountains. We expect 1 to 5 inches of fresh powder for the Sawatch Mountains by mid morning Monday. Once the storm clears the Front Range it will bring chilly temperatures and gusty high winds to Woodland Park, Colorado Springs and Pueblo. High temperatures will drop back down into the upper 30s with a few flurries possible just east of Pike’s Peak, but winds will gust to near 40 mph during the afternoon. Warmer weather follows for Through Thursday, but then another storm blasts through, dumping more snow for the Central Mountains and sending temperatures back down into the 30s. Next weekend will be dry and seasona.
