Warning issued after man sexually harasses Manitou Springs shop worker

The Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce issued a warning after a man allegedly lingered in a Manitou Springs store until all the other customers left so that he could sexually harass an employee.

According to a Facebook post shared by The Avenue – Colorado Springs, the chamber says the man seen in surveillance footage above waited until he was the only person in the store and then assaulted a female employee. The store wasn’t named in the post.

The chamber says the suspect allegedly told the employee “sexual things he was going to do her” before groping her and then slobbering on her face and neck.

The employee was able to get away, according to the Chamber, and the suspect eventually left the store. He hasn’t been identified yet.

Police officers are aware of the incident, according to the Chamber, but if you see the man in the picture, call police.
