Man arrested after passing out in stolen car in south Colorado Springs

A man led officers on a foot chase after he passed out in a stolen car.

Officers responded to a welfare call in the 1700 block of Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. early Tuesday morning. Upon arrival to the scene, they found Tyler Hart in a vehicle that was partially in the roadway.

Officers and medical personnel contacted Hart and after looking into the car’s license plates, they discovered the vehicle was stolen.

Within seconds of the officers discovering the car was stolen, Hart left the scene on foot. Officers pursued Hart and were able to subdue him with the use of a stun gun.

Hart was arrested and KRDO is waiting for his photo to be released.
