Wind Alert Day – 2/5/19

TODAY: We will see some fog to start the day here in Colorado but that will clear out by the mid morning. Following that, winds really start to pick up. We will see gusts between 30 and 45 mph during the daytime under a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures today will warm into the 40s and 50s.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and breezy with lows in the 20s and 30s.

EXTENDED: A weather alert is out for Wednesday. This is due to the return of rain and snow It looks to start up west of the I-25 cooridor through 9AM, and will then spread east during the late morning. Rain is most likely in lower elevation cities, with better chances for all snow over the Palmer Divide, Teller County and southern mountains. This shifts east through the late afternoon before clearing out. Right now accumulation looks minor and should be contained those higher elevation cities. Keep your snow duster and winter coat close tomorrow.
