Update: 81-year-old man is safe after leaving Colorado Springs home

Update: According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, James Sauls returned home safe at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking the public for help in finding an 81-year-old man with an impaired mental condition.

James Sauls was last seen in the 1500 block of Oak Hills Dr. in Colorado Springs at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, he was driving a 2009 Silver Toyota 4Runner with a CO license plate #092SSA.

Authorities say he was possibly seen in the Thornton area.

He is described as a black male, 5’9″, 150 lbs., brown eyes and white hair. He was wearing a blue Cowboys knit cap, blue jacket, khaki pants, black shoes and brown glasses.
