Suspects rob Colorado Springs boutique, get away with $5K necklace

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying three suspects who stole jewelry from the Benet Hill Monastery-Sisters Thrift and Boutique shop.

The robbery happened on Jan. 17 at the boutique located 8674 North Union Blvd. Police say two women and one man entered the shop and showed interest in a piece of jewelry in a display case.

One woman and the man distracted the sales staff, while the other woman reached into the display and took a gold necklace. The necklace is valued at approximately $5,000.

Police describe the suspects as:

Hispanic or Native-American female, 40-50 years old, dark hair White female with red hair and wearing a blue baseball cap A white male, late teens to early 20’s, short hair
