Suspected child rapist could be in San Luis, Colorado, area

The Costilla County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in finding a man who could be armed and dangerous.

Authorities posted an alert to their official Facebook page Saturday, saying he could be in the San Luis, Colorado area.

Raymond M. Hernadez, 29, was charged with molesting two children and battering a third in Taos County, New Mexico. The incidents were reported to have happened over the last two weeks.

The Sheriff’s Office says the third raping of a child could have happened as early as Friday morning.
