Pleasant Weekend 1-25-19

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy skies initially with clearing skies through the early morning hours. Lows drop mainly to the teens overnight.

TOMORROW: Mainly dry conditions with plenty of sun. It may begin to cloud up some during the afternoon with a brief snow shower possible across parts of the Pikes Peak Region. Highs are even warmer climbing to the 40s and 50s. Our mountain cities may continue to see the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: Sunday looks even warmer with temps in the 50s to near 60. Clouds may also pass through at times during the day but sunshine will still be seen. It will also be a littler breezier with west winds.

Changes arrive by Monday with a strong cold front bringing much colder temps and a period of gusty north winds. A Weather Alert is out for this and the potential for snow moving from north to south during the day. The Palmer Divide and portions of the Pikes Peak Region may deal with a dicey morning commute as roadways may become snow covered and slick. This is another quick moving system as it exits south of the area late Monday evening. Accumulations look fairly light with this storm due to the quick nature but that could change with any timing differences. Chilly air will remain through the middle of next week.
