Pueblo police search for man who shot woman

Police continue to search for a man who shot a woman Wednesday night.

Officers were initially called to the area near Lincoln and Abriendo, following reports that a woman had been shot in the arm. She was taken to the hospital by her friends and is expected to be okay.

Officers say they believe 35-year-old David Trujillo shot the woman. Trujillo is described as 185 lbs., 5’9″ and is said to be driving a blue Chevy S-10 pickup truck with CO plates #ADE-136.

If you see Trujillo, do not approach him and contact PPD as soon as possible.
