Weather Alert Morning: Icy roads, then thawing – 1/23/19

TODAY: Through mid to late morning tomorrow, temps will begin to warm above freezing helping to melt the lingering ice and snow packed roadways. Mostly sunny skies are expected with highs warming to the 30s and low 40s. We will have breezy west and southwest winds.

TONIGHT: A mountain snow shower or two is possible. Otherwise look for partly cloudy skies and overnight lows inthe teens and low 20s.

EXTENDED: Snow showers are in the forecast for the first part of tomorrow. Right now, these aren’t expected to cause too many issues and should only produce minor accumulation. These start to wind down and clear out following noon. The weekend will be beautiful with sunshine and highs in the 40s and 50s. A weather alert is out for Monday due to chances for widespread snow. We will be watching this storm closely and will keep you updated!
