One more nice afternoon – 1/17/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy today. It will be a nice warm afternoon with highs in the 50s. Places east of Pueblo, out over the plains and southeast part of the state will be feeling highs in the low 60s today!

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with lows in the 20s and 30s. Snow stays over the central mountains.

EXTENDED: Friday is a weather alert day. We will be seeing light rain and snow moving in for the mid morning hours before it picks up in coverage for the afternoon. Places over 7,000 feet still have the best chance of seeing all snow tomorrow. Lower elevations will be seeing a rain snow mix or all rain. Mountain roads will be impacted the most before everyone sees some slick conditions for the evening. All snow is expected for a brief period before it clears out by midnight. Places through the Pikes Peak Region will see less than 2″, with isolated spots to 3″ around the Palmer Divide. Pueblo area and the Plains will only see an inch or less.
