The Discovery Canyon girls basketball team back on the court after losing a teammate

After losing two friends, the Discovery Canyon girls basketball team is walking the path of grief together, “It was really sudden and kind of traumatic for all of us but we all just got together and bonded and stayed strong and all the girls on the team we’ve become best friends and sisters,” says Sami Edwards, “They really rallied around each other – came together as a group, and really supported each other through it all,” says Discovery Canyon basketball coach Heath Kirkham,

“We all have more of a connection now and we need each other to get through it and through the rest of the season,” says Ashten Prechtel.
