Mild Weather Returns 1-8-19
TONIGHT: High clouds will be on the increase overnight with lows in the teens and 20s.
TOMORROW: Skies become partly sunny tomorrow with increasing high clouds. Despite the cloud cover, it will be a bit warmer with highs climbing to the 40s and 50s.
EXTENDED: Thursday is even a little warmer with mostly to partly sunny skies. Highs warm to the 50s with some low 60s. By Friday, a storm pushes in bringing widespread clouds with scattered rain and snow showers. With upslope flow, most of the wintry precipitation looks to stay around the Eastern Mountains and foothills and this is the most likely area for accumulation. Friday’s storm may linger into the first part of Saturday before clearing out. The event overall looks to be low impact but it will bring highs down to the 30s and 40s. We start warming again into the first part of next week.
