Cooler and not as windy – 1/8/19
TODAY: We won’t be seeing as much wind today, and skies will be mostly sunny. Afternoon highs will be slightly cooler and will only warm into the low and mid 40s. Higher terrain mountain cities will be seeing highs in the upper 30s today.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the low 20s to upper teens.
EXTENDED: Tomorrow looks warmer, though highs will struggle to climb out of the 40s thanks to increasing clouds. Thursday will be a different story when widespread 50s return under more sunshine. Models are showing the return of snow as we move into Friday afternoon and evening. This looks to linger through the first part of Saturday. Right now, it is too early to determine accumulation. My thought is that impacts will be fairly low. We will keep you updated so stay tuned for more!
