1 dead in overnight shooting in Colorado Springs

Police in Colorado Springs responded to a report of an overnight shooting in the 2500 block of Swale Run on reports of a shooting. That is east of Powers Boulevard.

When they arrived, police found a man dead inside a residence with apparent gunshot wounds. The case is being investigated as a homicide. That means it could be the first homicide in Colorado Springs in the year 2019.
