Woman run over by own truck near N. Academy in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police responded to a fatal accident on North Academy Boulevard Thursday afternoon and found that a woman had been struck by her own vehicle.

The crash happened sometime after noon in a parking lot just south of Vickers (MAP). The woman’s identity hasn’t been released yet.

The Major Accidents Unit is at the crash, and police are investigating how she was struck.
