Man passes out in stranger’s dog bed after a night of New Year’s drinking

Police made contact with a man who allegedly walked into the home that was not his and passed out in a dog bed.

According to KVUE, a woman woke up to the stranger sleeping in her Mastiff’s dog bed in the living room.

Police believe the unknown man walked into the woman’s home through an unlocked side door around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday.

KVUE reports the homeowner called police to report the stranger, in which they responded. On arrival, police determined the man was highly intoxicated after a night out of celebrating New Year’s Eve.

They believe he accidentally went inside the wrong home and passed out next to the dog. He eventually returned to where he lives and no complaints were filed
