Colorado Springs Utilities responds to water main break near Memorial Park

Colorado Springs Utilities responded to a water main break at Printers Parkway and International Circle Wednesday morning.

Crews arrived on the scene at 5:50 a.m. after receiving the call at 5:30 a.m. and had the water turned off at 6 a.m.

Colorado Springs Utilities told KRDO they do not know what caused the water main to break. There is no estimated time of when the water main will be fixed.

The Pikes Peak Regional Development Center reopened and water was restored just before 10 a.m. Wednesday after being closed earlier in the morning due to the water main break.

Use caution in the area. South Union Blvd. and South Circle Dr. can serve as alternate routes.

KRDO will continue to update this developing story.
