CSPD looking for driver in auto vs. pedestrian accident

Colorado Springs police are looking for the car involved in an auto-pedestrian crash on the southeast side of the city.

Officers say they got the call around 1:30 Tuesday morning. The Colorado Springs Fire Department reportedly found a woman in the 900 block of Galley Road lying in the street. The car was already gone by the time firefighters arrived.

Crews took her to the hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are still looking for the driver. No details are available.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
