A Colorado man was arrested on Dec. 18 after the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office conducted a five-month investigation into possession of online child pornography.

According to The Coloradoan, Joshua Matthew Struna, 30, was arrested and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a child with intent to distribute, and one count of sexual exploitation of a child for possession of more than 20 videos or items.

After receiving a search warrant for Struna’s home, investigators were able to seize a computer with 6,000 illegal files on it that were sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for further analysis, according to a news release.

The analysis discovered that more than 2,000 of the files were connected to victims known to the center, The Coloradoan reports.

After investigators did more digging and found additional files, they charged Struna with three more additional charges of sexual exploitation with an intent to distribute, and three more charges of sexual exploitation for possessing more than 20 video or items were added.

Struna does not have any other significant criminal history in the state of Colorado, according to court records.

Struna posted a $300 bail and was released from custody on Dec. 21. He’s due in court on Jan. 3.
