Driver lucky to be alive after crashing car into tunnel

A driver in Slovakia is lucky to be alive after crashing his BMW car into a mounted ramp on the road’s hard shoulder.

The driver hit the surface at a high rate of speed, causing his vehicle to flip upwards before falling back down onto the road.

According to Slovak police, the 44-year-old driver only had minor injuries from the crash. Police say he tested negative for alcohol and appeared to have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

This video was later posted to the police agency’s Facebook page where it has gotten millions of views.
