Starbucks to partner with UberEats in delivery service

Coffee lovers rejoice: Starbucks is rolling out a delivery service for hundreds of its stores across America.

According to business insider, the coffee chain will deliver to nearly a quarter of its roughly 8,000 US company-operated stores, beginning in early 2019.

Starbucks is partnering with UberEats for its delivery program, which they began testing in Miami last summer.

Over the last few years, Starbucks has been making an effort to move away from its traditional coffee-shop models and been moving more towards drive-thru shops and mobile ordering. The delivery service will be another step in that direction.
