Serious motorcycle crash closes Highway 115 in El Paso County

The Colorado State Patrol was dispatched to a serious motorcycle crash Tuesday morning on Highway 115 in El Paso County.

A trooper told KRDO that the driver of the motorcycle was airlifted to the hospital before troopers arrived on the scene. The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.

CSP says it is possible that a second vehicle was involved. Troopers are working to gather more information.

The crash closed Highway 115 in both directions between Barrett Road and Tierra Rojo Drive. As of 7:37 Tuesday morning, the road reopened in both directions.
