Wind Alert Wednesday 12-18-18

TONIGHT: Breezy at times. Mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the 30s. Mountain cities will be in the 20s tonight.

TOMORROW: A storm system bringing snow to the northern and central mountains will bring gusty northwest winds to Southern Colorado throughout the day. Winds start to pick up around the mid morning hours and continue throughout the afternoon before diminishing during the evening. Skies stay mostly to partly sunny with highs in the 40s and 50s. Winds gusting near 50 mph will make it feel colder than today.

EXTENDED: We stay dry on Thursday but cool off briefly before another Friday warm up. Models are still varying on the timing of the snow showers for this weekend, but right now there doesn’t look to be a big threat for accumulation. Stay tuned for more!
