Recall issued for marijuana sold at Pueblo store over mold/yeast concern
A Denver business voluntarily recalled all of its retail marijuana because of elevated yeast/mold counts, and some of it was sold at one Pueblo store.
Doctor’s Orders LLC issued the recall after a Denver Department of Public Health & Environment investigation found potentially unsafe levels of yeast or mold.
The majority of the marijuana was sold in Denver, but one Pueblo store, Doctors Orders on E. Enterprises Drive, was included in the list.
If you bought any cannabis from that store recently, check for the OPC code 403R-00045. A news release from DDPHE says some marijuana could’ve been sold to other stores prior to Aug. 1, so all consumers should check their marijuana products for that OPC code.
The department says to either toss out the marijuana or take it back to the store.
The following stores are included in the retail marijuana recall, which includes pre-rolls, shake, and flower, according to the DDPHE:
